I love a challenge. Leslie Saeta hosts a 30 Paintings in 30 Days challenge twice a year in January and September.
The goal is to reinforce the habit of regular painting or drawing and to have fun and connect with people no matter how many paintings are completed.
I first took part in January 2016 and completed 13 pastels paintings on the theme of birds. I loved what I learned during the challenge so I could tell that I would be back for more.
I’m excited to be taking part again. I’m working in pastels and choosing a theme for each week.
This week’s theme was inspired by Eric Carle’s
“The Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse”
I completed 13 Paintings in 31 days in my first attempt at the 30 Paintings in 30 Days challenge.
